Well this sure has been a rollercoaster for me. I was on a plataeu for 5 days. I was not losing any weight but was losing inches. Right when I was going to do the apple day to jump start my weightloss again, I started losing again. I lost one more pound THEN I went to a church event on Saterday, AND they had food. I really did not want to break my diet and I had enough will power to stick with it but I felt bad not eating since I was a guest at the event. I ate 3 carb dishes, yikes! The next morning the pound that took me 5 days to lose was back. Even though it was disapointing I did expect it. On Sunday I got right back on track and was feeling good. I started to lose again but it was not until today ( Monday) that I lost that one pound again. So now I am not getting off track anymore no matter what. I have goals to reach and deadlines so I have to be strong. I lost 4 inches off my waist so that is exciting, this is going to be my focus and motivation for the next few days. Today was difficult, I wanted so bad, to eat carbs but I think it was phsycological more than anything because I really was not hungry. But I did not cheat, I stuck to my diet and I am proud of myself.
Tomorrow is my HCG day off. I will need to get really creative with my cooking so I will be satisfied and not crave carbs as much. I borrowed an HCG Diet cookbook from the HCG Diet Center to help me. The cookbook is wonderful with lots of great and simple recipes.

I have 4 day stalls ALL THE TIME. It is so hard. I totally can relate. I just keep going. Seriously every week since week 2 is 4 day stall following a two day loss. over and over. The good news is... it always follows a loss. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been similar for me too. That is why I am also measuring myself so I can see that I am still progressing even though I am not losing weight. Great job with sticking to it! As long as you keep it up the weight WILL come off and that is exciting!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
